Hexabot - Design flows

In a speculative version of 2025, humanity has established lunar colonies where survival depends on the use of Hexabots—versatile robots tasked with everything from mining resources to growing crops and exploring the Moon’s surface. The challenge was to design a mobile app that enables lunar residents to manage their Hexabots effortlessly. The app needed to support task assignment, real-time status tracking, and updates—while being intuitive and accessible, even in physically demanding lunar conditions.

The app flow was designed to allow users to quickly check Hexabot statuses, assign urgent tasks with minimal effort, and monitor progress in real time—supporting both expert and non-expert users through a clear, accessible interface with options for voice control and personalization.

The app allows users to customize the interface and controls to match their personal preferences. From color themes to command shortcuts, everything can be tailored for a smoother, more intuitive robot interaction experience.

2

The app also includes a profile section that allows users to switch between an expert account and a family account. The family account features a simplified interface, designed for users who prefer fewer details about the robots and their specific tasks.

Finally, a text mode is available for situations when the operator is unable to speak.
